Backend & eSIM Infrastructure Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION The magic of Linki happens in seconds: a user buys their eSIM, scans a QR code, and lands already connected. Behind that experience is critical infrastructure that must work flawlessly — always. As a Backend Engineer, you’ll be part of the team that builds and maintains the systems that make this experience possible at a global scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop REST APIs for the eSIM lifecycle (provisioning, activation, suspension).
• Integrate with mobile operator platforms (RSP/SM‑DP+) following GSMA standards.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across all critical services.
• Collaborate with the product and infrastructure teams to scale systems as the company grows.
• Actively participate in code reviews, architecture design, and technical documentation.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud services (AWS or GCP).
• Experience building production APIs with high traffic and low latency.
• Knowledge of API security: authentication, authorization, data encryption.
• Bonus: experience in telecommunications, MVNOs, RSP, or GSMA‑compliant eSIM platforms.
